TRUTH AND LIES:

The word a man speak is either TRUTH or LIE, It is how ever not difficult to identify and decode which of them is TRUTH OF LIE but the problem lies in the fact that some people’s natural sense of judgment has been weakened and beclouded by hope, expectation and promise of a better future which will never come because they are based on lies.

Another reason for some people not being able to identify LIE is their inability to fend/provide for themselves which makes them see and process every information that appears to favours them as TRUTH and the ones which doesn’t favour them as LIE.

Is TRUTH good? Yes TRUTH is good because it makes you bold, fearless, firm and confident. It makes you know what you want and how to get it. It also make one not see faces and hear words that comes out of people’s mouth sympathetically but as they really are when they are spoken.22090179_10212603331432721_5427467307251241704_n

Is LIE good or bad? Hmmmm! Lie to a large extent is bad. I say this because in a very rare occasion LIE may save your life, but that same LIE one tells in that situation can only and always be told in situations which emanated from LIE itself, so LIE beget LIE.

Let me give an example, if an Hausa Christian person who was converted from Islam is captured by group of Hausa Islamic religious terrorists which of course is driven by another LIE, (beacause no God or god ever said go and kill it is a LIE from men) and wanted to be killed because he or she does not believe in Islam, Naturally he or she would quickly speak their language and recite all the Islamic quotation he or she knows because he or she is a converted Christian from Islam and Christianity is not written on the face, that way the person can save their LIFE by telling a LIE.
So I would say that a LIE is good ONLY when faced with such situation which is based and emanated from LIE because (LIE CAN ONLY PRODUCE A LIE)

Don’t form the habit of telling LIES because it can affect and change one’s mental perception to always be atracted and attached to LIE and as well never know how TRUTH looks like and ultimately suffer from (COGNITIVE DISSONANCE) check it out on your dictionary.

Lastly on LIE, yes lie is not good because it can only and always produce another LIE and this world would be a better place with out it.

Always try and tell the TRUTH, and LIE only when you are faced with situation such as shielded above and to such similar situations.

Animals don’t tell LIE. Every other things in nature don’t tell LIE. Only Human who tell LIES.

In fact LIE comes from one’s quest, need and expectation of something or survival.

When many ladies and some men gets older, they LIE about their age because they want to be seen not as old people. (SURVIVAL)

They don’t want to accept the TRUTH that not everyone will marry or be married.

TRUTH is that many ladies infact stand the chance of being married to a man if they are comfortable with sharing one husband with one or other women otherwise many of them would spend their entire life without being married to a man. this is sad but pure TRUTH.

No deity, neither capital God nor small god said marry one woman or marry more than one, those are men’s ideas for control.

The MARAUDING Christian colonizers used it against all the indigenous people everywhere they go and the Chinese are using it on their own people as well for control and they are not Christians, did their God or god told the that as well? When people want to seek for asylum and shelter they tell LIES to the same asylum system, (SURVIVAL) because the same system which was set to take care of them is based on LIE otherwise where does the same system gets money with which it uses to charter and fund the millions of the asylum seeker? Too much LIES in the world today.

Many LIES had been beautified and presented as TRUTH and TRUTH presented as LIES. One can be fighting and defending a LIE without knowing that what he or she thinks is TRUTH is actually a LIE.

What ever one can not prove, clarify and substantiate is a total LIE for TRUTH does not hide itself.

“LIE produces LIE and TRUTH produces TRUTH”.

I had long decided to always tell the TRUTH and be on the side of TRUTH because TRUTH is LIFE and LIFE is TRUTH and when I want to say it, i say it strait as if am blind to see people’s faces and not as if I have water in my mouth.

THE EFFECTIVE USE OF THE IGBO SECOND PERSON SINGULAR PRONOUNS: /Ị/ and /Gị/ TO FORM MEANINGFUL/GRAMMATICAL CONSTRUCTIONS. WHAT YOU SHOULD LEARN NOW.

We are still discussing rules for writing standard Igbo. I noticed through my research that a large number of Igbo native speakers find it so difficult to place the second person singular pronouns /ị/ and /gị/ in their rightful positions in a sentence (written or spoken).14650542_1134433066625947_6762515815230841114_n

Being a native speaker of Igbo is not enough to justify one’s Igbo grammatical and communicative competence. You cannot speak English formally anyhow you wish, be you an English native speaker or non-native speaker. The same thing goes for Igbo. You cannot speak or write it anyhow you wish. The following sentences have something to tell us regarding this:

*Nye m mmiri ka m taa
* Nye m mmanya ka m rie
* Nye m nri ka m ńụọ

You will agree with me that when you make the above sentences, the grandmother in your village who didn’t attend any formal education will call you a mad man. Formal education has nothing to do with one’s language. The point I want to make. Some always say: “because Maazi is an Igbo linguist that is why he always want to shove the rules they formed in school down one’s throat”. Which rules? Just go to the village and tell an elderly person, “nye m akara ka m ńụọ”, you will be ostracised and tagged a mad man. The rules are linguistically genetic. The truth is that the aforementioned expressions are morphologically and syntactically correct but semantically and grammatically wrong. Even the speaker will spit on his face for committing such grammatical blunder. What point am I making?

You cannot speak or write Igbo anyhow you wish. It is a rule-based language. Being an Igbo is not enough.

Coming to the topic of today, /ị/ and /gị/ have the same grammatical function but their usage differs. Both are used to refer to the second person singular pronoun. But they cannot be used interchangeably. Let us see the rules:

FIRST RULE:

“Ị” cannot end a sentence in Igbo or appear in the middle of a sentence (except in some conditions) to function as second person singular pronoun. Eg:
* Nwanne ị ahụ na-abịa
* Ndị ahụ niile bụ ndị be ị

These sentences are constructively wrong.

SECOND RULE: (conditions under which “ị” comes in the middle)

“ị” appears in the middle of a sentence when an auxiliary verb comes after it. Eg:
*Mgbe ị na-abịa
*Oge ahụ ị na-agba egwu
*Ọ kwa ị ga-agba ọsọ?
“na” and “ga” that come after “ị” are all auxiliary verbs in the context.

Another condition is when a complete verb comes after “ị” eg:

*Mgbe ị nyụrụ nsị
* Oge ahụ ị tara anụ
* Ọ kwa ị kọrọ ọnụ?

THIRD RULE:

“ị” functioning as the second person singular pronoun generally appears in the initial stage of a sentence. Eg:

*ị ga-anwụ
* ị ga-ata ahụhụ
* ị na-achị ọchị ka ewu a na-ahụ n’ọkụ
* ị jọrọ njọ ka udele isi nkwọcha.

In these sentences if you initialise them with “ga”, you will notice that their underlined grammatical ingredients have been zapped. While though, some dialects of Igbo use “ị” and “gị” as regard to these cited examples, interchangeably. But this piece of research is focusing on the standard Igbo.

FOURTH RULE:

“gị” is used in the beginning, middle and the end of Igbo sentence depending on the grammatical rules it play.

Before “gị” initialise a sentence there must be a connection between the person you are addressing and another party. Eg:

*Gị na nwanne gị na-agba mbọ
*Gị na nwoke ahụ na-akọ ọnụ
* Gị na nwagbọghọ ahụ na-ayị.

No dialect of Igbo initialise these sentences with “ị”. Impossible. Rather you will get variations like: “gụ”, “ge”, “gọ” etc. If you doubt this, name the dialect.

When “gị” appears in the middle of a sentence. Eg:

*Nwanne gị ahụ bụ atụrụ
* Anụrụ m na ọ bụ gị nyụrụ nsị ahụ
* I zuzuchaa uche gị apịawa gị ụtarị.

When “gị” appears in the end of a sentence. Eg:

* O nweghị ihe m ga-eme gị
* Onye ga-anyụ gị anya bụ nwunye gị
* Ihe ga-eme gị ka ga-eme gị.

From our today’s discussion borne out of my personal rigorous research, I come up with these challenging rules of writing and speaking Igbo as regard to the second person singular pronoun. Any question? Feel free to ask. Let me pause here for now and keep thinking my thinkings. Daalụ nu!

About Nigeria Genocidal War Against Biafra.

Right now, I feel it is important to draw the attention of all Biafrans and in fact the international community as well to what the Biafrans are fighting for i.e the restoration of the Republic of Biafra. The series of injustice perpetuated against the people of Biafra was initiated by a mercenary soldier working on behalf of the British government. In the year 1914, Lugard as colonial administrator and friend of the Hausa-Fulani using his connections with the British colonial office committed the most outrageous fraud in human history by unilaterally declaring the amalgamation of northern and southern protectorate in our part of Africa and naming these territories NIGERIA.

This British mercenary did not consult the people before forcing them into an unholy union of his dreams. The name Nigeria was really a coinage from two words, Niger i.e the river Niger and area meaning the area of land around the river Niger. It does not require a rocket scientist or a wordsmith to forge this name. I understand that the name was in fact suggested by Lugard’s wife (Flora Shaw).Flora1

For Lugard to choose the name Nigeria for his contraption, it’s clear evident that he was only interested in the land and its resources not in the well being of people of diverse cultures inhabiting the land. So ab-initio, the name Nigeria was only a geographical description without any cultural or historical content and has remained so up till today. For even Lugard himself described the north and the south as oil and water that can never mix.

About 30years into Lugard’s experiment in 1945 to be exact. The first catastrophe struck. Biafrans were slaughtered in northern Nigeria by the Hausa-Fulani as the clear expression of their resentment of the amalgamation.378087_Biafra_War_1_jpg281a84cd85fa4a1b9040d2f14a0d3339

In 1953, the northerners struck again. One small Biafrans were the victims. The Nigerian census of 1956 was rigged in favor of the northerners by their British friends who inflated the population figures for the north to the detriment of the south.

The pre-independent federal elections were similarly rigged by the departing British colonial administrators to benefit the north against the south. It was not therefore surprising that a few years after independence, Nigeria descended into anarchy and chaos. This time again, Biafrans were the target. Chased away from all over Nigeria as hundredths of thousands of them were murdered in the northern Nigeria.hqdefault

In May-October 1966, Biafrans were hounded and massacred all over northern Nigeria by the Hausa-Fulani shouting ”ARABA ARABA”meaning SECESSION. The bruised and battered Biafrans returned to the safety of their homeland to nurse their wounds. Abandoned by the federal government of the country to which they were supposed to belong.

A national conference was held in Aburi, Ghana under the chairmanship of Gen. Ankra the Ghanaian head of state. Far reaching agreements aimed at keeping Nigeria together were concluded between Gen. Yakubu Gowon representing Nigeria and Gen. Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu representing the people of Biafra.

But in a most arrogant display of power, Nigeria unilaterally annulled those agreements. The Biafrans had no other choice than to declare their independence on May 30th, 1967.

Instead of allowing Biafrans to nurse their wounds in the peace of their homeland, Nigeria propelled by share hatred and arrogance of power declared a war of aggression against the beleaguered Biafrans. Nigeria wanted the land of Biafra without the people of Biafra and conducted a three year genocidal war to achieve that purpose.Download

At the end of it all, about 3.5 million Biafra men, women and children were killed in their homeland. I have never read anywhere that people of different cultures and religions have been forced to unite by share military means.

The American civil war was a unique case. Prior to that war, all the states had voluntarily consented to join the union after a gruesome war of independence against the British. But when the southern states refused to give up slavery and decided instead to secede from the union, the northern states led by Abraham Lincoln took up arms against the south as a matter of principle. The north believed that since all men were created equal, it was unjust for people to own slaves at private property. The American civil war was not in reality to unite the country, but a war in defense of human right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.images (1)

In its genocidal enterprise, Nigeria obtained the ready military and diplomatic assistance of Britain, the formal soviet union, Spain, the then Organization of African Unity led by the formal Ethiopian head of state Emperor Haile Selassie, non-alliance nations led by President Tito of formal Yugoslavia and the United Nations Organization led by U Thant.

The lie being bandit about by Britain and Nigeria was that if Biafra was allowed to secede from Nigeria, the whole of Africa would be afflicted by the disease of secession. Shamelessly, the so called civilized world colluded with Nigeria in the massacre of millions of Biafran men, women and children. The principle of human rights was thrown to the winds.

Biafra was strangled by overwhelming military force, diplomatic frauds and starvation. Even, christian charity organizations and the International Red Cross were dissuaded and frustrated by Britain and Nigeria from delivering urgently needed food material and medicine which would have saved lives.10442496_724688210979607_3966397262667683998_n

Whether we believe it or not, there is a great being who is in control of events on earth. Some refers to him as Karma, we call him God. Nigeria thought that once Biafra was defeated in battle, everything would be alright and she will live happily ever after. There is no way you can spill the blood of 3.5 million people and expect that there would not be some retributions. We all know what is happening to Nigeria today.

What of the greatest ally of Nigeria during that war against Biafrans; Britain? One quiet afternoon early this year (2014), two machete wielding Nigerian extremists attacked a British soldier and killed him in broad day light and bragged about it. That event was one of the worst greatest insults inflicted on a world power such as Britain.

Right now, Scotland is in the process of seceding from Britain after about 400years of marriage voluntarily entered into by England and Scotland. Yet, it was the same Britain that scared the world stiff about the impending vulcanization of Africa should Biafra go its way and let the chorus of the sanctity of the territorial integrity of Nigeria as the Biafran war of independence raged on. The truth is that a territory can never be more important than the people who live in it. That is the basic principle of human rights. But the British government under the leadership of Harold Wilson did not believe that the Biafran people were entitled to the same human rights which British people enjoyed. That is why Harold Wilson is one of the list respected world leaders today.

As leader of the Organization of African Unity, Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, campaigned against the existence of Biafra because he believed that if Biafra was allowed to exist, the province of Eritrea which was then part of Ethiopia would secede. But in spite of Haile Selassie, Eritrea is now an independent nation.

What about President Tito of Yugoslavia, as leader of the non-aligned nations, President Tito campaigned against Biafra because he feared that his country would break if Biafra were allowed to exist. Where is Yugoslavia today? In the dustbin of history. Out of the ashes of Yugoslavia emerged four or five countries in spite of President Tito.22489900_2195896060637020_6333905399044700595_n

Now, the formal Soviet union supplied Nigeria with all the mig-fighter planes with which it terrorized, killed and maimed Biafran men, women and children in their homes, in market places, in schools, in churches, in hospitals and in refugee camps. Where is the great soviet union today? In the dustbin of history. From the ashes of the formal soviet union emerged 15 independence countries including Russia.

What of Egypt? While it was not clear whether the Egyptian government cooperated with Nigeria during its war against Biafra, it was common knowledge that Egyptian pilots were responsible for the indiscriminate bombing and stacking of civilian targets that accounted for the loss of thousands of lives. They were probably the mercenaries who did not want to risk their lives and therefore avoided raiding the war fronts. Since they did not discharge their bombs and kill some people, they frequently went for soft targets such as; markets, schools and hospitals. After all, they knew they were engaged in a war of extermination anyway and the civilized world was behind them.

By contrast, the five countries that recognized Biafra namely: Tanzania, Zambia, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Haiti have enjoyed peace and stability till today. Their heads of state at the time of Biafran saga namely: Dr. Warimu Julius Nyerere, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, Mr. Omar Bongo, Mr. Houphouet-boigny and ”Papa Doc” Francois Duvalier were some of the most respected statesmen in the world. Tanzania has not disintegrated even-though it is a union between mainland Tanganyika and the island of Zanzibar off the coast of east Africa. A union voluntarily agreed by the two entities without a land border but with strong cultural and historical ties.

Where was the United Nations Organization on the bight that was Biafra? Mixing in action! The world body never for once heard testimonies from the Biafran people. It listened only to Nigerian because Britain as a permanent member of the Security Council thwarted all effort by Biafra to present her case to the world and by implication deceived the United States on the issue of Biafra. It is the wish of everybody concerned that Nigeria should disappear peacefully, letting the component parts go their way after 100years of unholy marriage that has refused to work or Nigeria may choose to die a violent death. This will make no sense since too many lives have already been lost and the land is soaked in blood. Since all things made by mortal man perish, so shall Nigeria made by Fredrick Lugard and his wife seize to exist and from its ashes the republic of Biafra shall emerge. The case of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is one worthy of emulation. So also are the cases of formal Czechoslovakia, formal Yugoslavia, Ethiopia and Eritrea as well as Sudan and Southern Sudan.

Thomas Jefferson writing the American declaration of independence said and I quote ”When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

This idea goes back to Athens of the 5th century BC when Socrates spoke of a law of God respected by all Barbarian and Greek alike or in the Antigone of Sophocles from the 5th century BC when Antigone appealed to a law of God that is the same for all, all over the world and justify any actions that might break the law of men. Cicero defines natural law in his works of moral values as ”the law of God revealed in the reason of His universe” It is one law valid in all places and in all times. It will be the same in Athens and in Rome and in every future nation to come for that law rest with God and there are consequences for breaking the law of God.

I hope the United Nations will be alive to its responsibilities this time around and that the international communities will stop playing games with African lives. The lost of 3.5 million Biafran lives can never be in vain. That will run counter to the principle of natural justice; laws of nature and nature’s God. The people of Biafra have waited all these years for reason and common sense to prevail; for justice to be done so that old and current wounds can start to heal and the spirits of 3.5 million Biafran men, women and children can start to rest in peace. It is time for the restoration of the Republic of Biafra. God bless people of goodwill around the world and God bless Biafra.

Many have come out for a singular purpose, to restore the dignity of our people. They understand the dangers we face as a people and have come to discover that, as we try to shy away from confronting these dangers and their fears, we become donkeys of labour and playthings to everything that breathes. Many have realized that this is not the way to live and have given up so much to stand and defend the rights of the indigenous people of Biafra to freedom and the rights to their own State, sovereign, separate and independent from Nigeria.

However, there still are millions amongst us Biafrans whose folly have blinded. Although these lot contribute to a larger part of the listenership in Radio Biafra, they seem not to have grasped that their ineptitude, nonchalance and indifference to our plight and cause amount to folly, and they have not considered the danger thereof. 1. We lack the ability to continue to live like slaves in a free world
2. We have lost all patience to remaining in the position of slaves in our own land.
3. We are tired of running away and seeking solace in foreign lands because, there, we still bear the stigma of slavery.
4. We have committed everything to restore our dignity, our land and the sovereignty of Biafra.
5. We understand that there are dangers ahead but we have faced dangers untold and many are still standing. We will willingly withstand every danger in our march to return home and regain our gain.
6. We understand that many have died and many may still die in this quest.
7. We have resolved that life without freedom is worse than death and that we would give everything to free ourselves and posterity from this further stigma of shame.
8. We understand that we need to get every logistics ready for eventualities in order to avert a repeat of the 60s genocide against our people.
9. We have sworn to God, to the spirit of our land, Biafra, and to ourselves that the pains and loss of the genocidal years and effects will not deter us.
10. We appeal to the conscience of ALL Biafranas wherever they may reside to understand that we will neither back down nor will we back out; therefore, we ask ALL Biafrans to FULLY support this restoration drive by every means possible.
11. To the folly, to the jesters and cynics and to all who sit on the fence, we say: Your positions will do you more harm than the good you anticipate in selfishness. Whether or not you support this move financially and otherwise, we will still march on relentlessly towards a restored Biafra. But if you still choose to remain seated on the face, know this:

A. When our enemies approach again, we shall do everything to defend ourselves.
B. We would rather die than run away or capitulate this time.
C. While we may stand to defend ourselves and your fathers and mothers and siblings and children, without your support, our defence may not guarantee their total safety.
D. If you still choose not to support us financially, your fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, children and family members will all die – owing to your folly. And we would gladly die with them in valiant defence of our God-given rights.
E. If, for anything, we all die because of your indifference to our calls for support, know ye that your case will be worse than it is for many Biafrans now. And you can be sure that another generation will rise up to claim back our freedom. So, it’s to the interest of all Biafrans to rise en masse and surrender every support needed to ensure that our enemies do not ever gain a foothold against us again. Instead of allowing Biafrans to nurse their wounds in the peace of their homeland, Nigeria propelled by share hatred and arrogance of power declared a war of aggression against the beleaguered Biafrans. Nigeria wanted the land of Biafra without the people of Biafra and conducted a three year genocidal war to achieve that purpose.

At the end of it all, about 3.5 million Biafra men, women and children were killed in their homeland. I have never read anywhere that people of different cultures and religions have been forced to unite by share military means.

The American civil war was a unique case. Prior to that war, all the states had voluntarily consented to join the union after a gruesome war of independence against the British. But when the southern states refused to give up slavery and decided instead to secede from the union, the northern states led by Abraham Lincoln took up arms against the south as a matter of principle. The north believed that since all men were created equal, it was unjust for people to own slaves at private property. The American civil war was not in reality to unite the country, but a war in defense of human right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

In its genocidal enterprise, Nigeria obtained the ready military and diplomatic assistance of Britain, the formal soviet union, Spain, the then Organization of African Unity led by the formal Ethiopian head of state Emperor Haile Selassie, non-alliance nations led by President Tito of formal Yugoslavia and the United Nations Organization led by U Thant.

The lie being bandit about by Britain and Nigeria was that if Biafra was allowed to secede from Nigeria, the whole of Africa would be afflicted by the disease of secession. Shamelessly, the so called civilized world colluded with Nigeria in the massacre of millions of Biafran men, women and children. The principle of human rights was thrown to the winds.

Biafra was strangled by overwhelming military force, diplomatic frauds and starvation. Even, christian charity organizations and the International Red Cross were dissuaded and frustrated by Britain and Nigeria from delivering urgently needed food material and medicine which would have saved lives.

Whether we believe it or not, there is a great being who is in control of events on earth. Some refers to him as Karma, we call him God. Nigeria thought that once Biafra was defeated in battle, everything would be alright and she will live happily ever after. There is no way you can spill the blood of 3.5 million people and expect that there would not be some retributions. We all know what is happening to Nigeria today.

What of the greatest ally of Nigeria during that war against Biafrans; Britain? One quiet afternoon early this year (2014), two machete wielding Nigerian extremists attacked a British soldier and killed him in broad day light and bragged about it. Right now, Scotland is in the process of seceding from Britain after about 400years of marriage voluntarily entered into by England and Scotland. Yet, it was the same Britain that scared the world stiff about the impending vulcanization of Africa should Biafra go its way and let the chorus of the sanctity of the territorial integrity of Nigeria as the Biafran war of independence raged on. I do not know what will happen to the territorial integrity of Britain when Scotland eventually secedes.

The truth is that a territory can never be more important than the people who live in it. That is the basic principle of human rights. But the British government under the leadership of Harold Wilson did not believe that the Biafran people were entitled to the same human rights which British people enjoyed. That is why Harold Wilson is one of the list respected world leaders today.

As leader of the Organization of African Unity, Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, campaigned against the existence of Biafra because he believed that if Biafra was allowed to exist, the province of Eritrea which was then part of Ethiopia would secede. But in spite of Haile Selassie, Eritrea is now an independent nation.

What about President Tito of Yugoslavia, as leader of the non-aligned nations, President Tito campaigned against Biafra because he feared that his country would break if Biafra were allowed to exist. Where is Yugoslavia today? In the dustbin of history. Out of the ashes of Yugoslavia emerged four or five countries in spite of President Tito.

Now, the formal Soviet union supplied Nigeria with all the mig-fighter planes with which it terrorized, killed and maimed Biafran men, women and children in their homes, in market places, in schools, in churches, in hospitals and in refugee camps. Where is the great soviet union today? In the dustbin of history. From the ashes of the formal soviet union emerged 15 independence countries including Russia.

What of Egypt? While it was not clear whether the Egyptian government cooperated with Nigeria during its war against Biafra, it was common knowledge that Egyptian pilots were responsible for the indiscriminate bombing and stacking of civilian targets that accounted for the loss of thousands of lives. They were probably the mercenaries who did not want to risk their lives and therefore avoided raiding the war fronts. Since they did not discharge their bombs and kill some people, they frequently went for soft targets such as; markets, schools and hospitals. After all, they knew they were engaged in a war of extermination anyway and the civilized world was behind them.

By contrast, the five countries that recognized Biafra namely: Tanzania, Zambia, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Haiti have enjoyed peace and stability till today. Their heads of state at the time of Biafran saga namely: Dr. Warimu Julius Nyerere, Dr. Kenneth Kaunda, Mr. Omar Bongo, Mr. Houphouet-boigny and ”Papa Doc” Francois Duvalier were some of the most respected statesmen in the world. Tanzania has not disintegrated even-though it is a union between mainland Tanganyika and the island of Zanzibar off the coast of east Africa. A union voluntarily agreed by the two entities without a land border but with strong cultural and historical ties.

Where was the United Nations Organization on the bight that was Biafra? Mixing in action! The world body never for once heard testimonies from the Biafran people. It listened only to Nigerian because Britain as a permanent member of the Security Council thwarted all effort by Biafra to present her case to the world and by implication deceived the United States on the issue of Biafra. It is now time for Nigeria to pay its debt to history.

It is the wish of everybody concerned that Nigeria should disappear peacefully, letting the component parts go their way after 100years of unholy marriage that has refused to work or Nigeria may choose to die a violent death. This will make no sense since too many lives have already been lost and the land is soaked in blood. Since all things made by mortal man perish, so shall Nigeria made by Fredrick Lugard and his wife seize to exist and from its ashes the republic of Biafra shall emerge. The case of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh is one worthy of emulation. So also are the cases of formal Czechoslovakia, formal Yugoslavia, Ethiopia and Eritrea as well as Sudan and Southern Sudan.

Thomas Jefferson writing the American declaration of independence said and I quote ”When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

This idea goes back to Athens of the 5th century BC when Socrates spoke of a law of God respected by all Barbarian and Greek alike or in the Antigone of Sophocles from the 5th century BC when Antigone appealed to a law of God that is the same for all, all over the world and justify any actions that might break the law of men. Cicero defines natural law in his works of moral values as ”the law of God revealed in the reason of His universe” It is one law valid in all places and in all times. It will be the same in Athens and in Rome and in every future nation to come for that law rest with God and there are consequences for breaking the law of God.

I hope the United Nations will be alive to its responsibilities this time around and that the international communities will stop playing games with African lives. The lost of 3.5 million Biafran lives can never be in vain. That will run counter to the principle of natural justice; laws of nature and nature’s God. The people of Biafra have waited all these years for reason and common sense to prevail; for justice to be done so that old and current wounds can start to heal and the spirits of 3.5 million Biafran men, women and children can start to rest in peace. It is time for the restoration of the Republic of Biafra. God bless people of goodwill around the world and God bless Biafra.

Many have come out for a singular purpose, to restore the dignity of our people. They understand the dangers we face as a people and have come to discover that, as we try to shy away from confronting these dangers and their fears, we become donkeys of labour and playthings to everything that breathes. Many have realized that this is not the way to live and have given up so much to stand and defend the rights of the indigenous people of Biafra to freedom and the rights to their own State, sovereign, separate and independent from Nigeria.

However, there still are millions amongst us Biafrans whose folly have blinded. Although these lot contribute to a larger part of the listenership in Radio Biafra, they seem not to have grasped that their ineptitude, nonchalance and indifference to our plight and cause amount to folly, and they have not considered the danger thereof. For this reason, I will now make it clearer:

1. We lack the ability to continue to live like slaves in a free world
2. We have lost all patience to remaining in the position of slaves in our own land.
3. We are tired of running away and seeking solace in foreign lands because, there, we still bear the stigma of slavery.
4. We have committed everything to restore our dignity, our land and the sovereignty of Biafra.
5. We understand that there are dangers ahead but we have faced dangers untold and many are still standing. We will willingly withstand every danger in our march to return home and regain our gain.
6. We understand that many have died and many may still die in this quest.
7. We have resolved that life without freedom is worse than death and that we would give everything to free ourselves and posterity from this further stigma of shame.
8. We understand that we need to get every logistics ready for eventualities in order to avert a repeat of the 60s genocide against our people.
9. We have sworn to God, to the spirit of our land, Biafra, and to ourselves that the pains and loss of the genocidal years and effects will not deter us.
10. We appeal to the conscience of ALL Biafranas wherever they may reside to understand that we will neither back down nor will we back out; therefore, we ask ALL Biafrans to FULLY support this restoration drive by every means possible.
11. To the folly, to the jesters and cynics and to all who sit on the fence, we say: Your positions will do you more harm than the good you anticipate in selfishness. Whether or not you support this move financially and otherwise, we will still march on relentlessly towards a restored Biafra. But if you still choose to remain seated on the face, know this:

A. When our enemies approach again, we shall do everything to defend ourselves.
B. We would rather die than run away or capitulate this time.


C. While we may stand to defend ourselves and your fathers and mothers and siblings and children, without your support, our defence may not guarantee their total safety.
D. If you still choose not to support us financially, your fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters, children and family members will all die – owing to your folly. And we would gladly die with them in valiant defence of our God-given rights.
E. If, for anything, we all die because of your indifference to our calls for support, know ye that your case will be worse than it is for many Biafrans now. And you can be sure that another generation will rise up to claim back our freedom. So, it’s to the interest of all Biafrans to rise en masse and surrender every support needed to ensure that our enemies do not ever gain a foothold against us again. Either way and whatever your decision and stand becomes from now, Biafra will still stand because we will never cease to advance to possess it.

A people are mostly known not just by the name they are given, but by the history of that name, and the culture they uphold. How did the Igbos become Igbos? This question cannot be answered without a good understanding of the traditions and cultures of the Igbo people. It is not just about the history we read, but about the practices, the religion, the totems and the art that are Igbo. Mbari is central to understanding the Igbo identity, industry, religion, education and creativity.Mbari
I was about writing something else for the week, before my phone beeped and it was a message from a good friend and one of the finest voices on radio, Maximus Agbaegbu who reminded me of the tragedy that the Governor of Imo State has meted on our culture, history and even future. I knew of this, but hadn’t gathered enough facts to write about it.of late, I have begun to deliberately ignore news about our Governor and his curious policies and programs. But the new about Mbari demolition was too strong for me to really think about, as I never believed it could happen. As much as I do not like Governor Okorocha’s leadership styles, I still had my doubts that he could actually order his bulldozers to destroy the Mbari Shrine. I know he demolished some shops within the Mbari Cultural Center, but didn’t know and could hardly believe that the Governor would destroy one of the most sensitive totems of the Igbo.89749180
The morning after my chat with Maximus, I had to drive down to Mbari Cultural Center, the building that houses the Imo State Council for Arts and Culture. True to Maximus’ report, the Mbari shrine has been reduced to rubbles and all the totems and murals distorted. One thing that immediately flashed to my mind is: “He who the gods want to kill, they first make mad”. This is not in anyway upholding or even expressing the belief that the gods drawn and sculpted at Mbari have any capacity to visit those who destroyed them with anger, but in amazement that anyone in his right mind could destroy history.46715e91706449a4fccb5abde5efec98--philosophy-s
One of Africa’s best writers, Chinua Achebe was one of those at the forefront of promoting the Mbari heritage of the Igbos and by extension Africans. He was one of the pioneer members of the Mbari Club and is credited with suggesting the name Mbari at the formation of the club, because of Mbari’s concept of creation. The Mbari Club which was founded by an expatriate, Ulli Beier, played a fundamental role in honing the literary skills and talents of great some of those who eventually turned out to be some of the world’s greatest and most celebrated artistes, including the Nobel Laurette, Wole Soyinka. The afro-music pioneer and activist also had his debut as a bandleader in the makeshift Arts Center situated in a market place, where the Mbari Club members used as their meeting place and rehearsal ground.tumblr_inline_ncve3zxjyB1qjefl3
Mbari is one of the biggest cultural exports of the Igbo people. it had so much impact in the literary and general artistic life of Nigeria, especially the Yoruba, that they had to yorubanize or adapt the name in a Yoruba form, when a group of Yoruba literati founded a new group which they called, Mbari Mbayo. Even thoug this new name has a meaning in Yoruba language, there is no argument that its coining was inspired by the original Mbari name, which has lots of significance to every Igbo person, especially, those of Owerri part of Igboland.
I cannot sincerely put my brain to any reason that could have led my Governor to destroy this very important museum of Igbo Culture. If it is in extension of his vendetta to against the Owerri people, then, it is not only misplaced, but also puerile. It is certainly not for road expansion which is the reason he has given for demolishing many structures across Owerri, because the shrine is built far away from where any road can get to. If it is because my Governor wants to build a fresh Mbari shrine anywhere else, then, it is also needless.igbo-compound-ism
At a time when the Governor and those in his government are singing about making Imo a tourism and hospitality hub, I do not know if there is anything that attracts tourists more than historical artifacts, like the one the Mbari shrine represented. What better thing could have attracted people from across the world than a museum that many students of visual arts across the world must come in contact with in the course of their studies?
No country develops by destroying its history and artefacts. Some of the most enlightened countries in the world, have kept their artefacts and preserved their historically relevant sites for millennia and these have in turn become major sources of revenue for such countries.
The Mbari shrine could have been to the Igbos and indeed Imo State, what the Diorama Bethlehem is to Switzerland. The Diorama Bethlehem is noted as one of the world’s largest nativity displays, boasting of about 450 hand carved figures. Also attractive to tourists is the giant circular painting called the Panorama Crucifixion of Jesus Christ.
The Mbari which is originally constructed with mud, sculptural representations of different animals and gods of the Igbo pantheon are fully represented. Among these sculptures are; the Nguma, which the Igbo traditional religion sees as the Chief Secuirty officer of the god, Amadioha. Tigers, snakes, water mermaids, gongs and other sculptures and murals deemed significant to the worship of the earth god, Ala, are well represented.
It could not also be that our Governor was being protective of the Christian faith, because the Mbari shrine does not stand in the way of anybody’s Christian faith. No one goes to that Mbari to pour libations, neither is there any Dibia invoking Amadioha from that shrine. The shrine was simply a historical monument to celebrate and of course project the rich Igbo culture and artistry.
Some of the world’s most Christian countries retain some artefacts and monuments that they know are relevant to their history as a people and those that have potentials to attract tourists to their countries. For instance, in the same Jerusalem, where Christians prefer as their destination for spiritual pilgrimages, lies the third most important Muslim place of prayer, called the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Also in that same Israel, we find the most important place of worship for the adherents of the Bahai faith. Located in Acre, Israel, this site is believed to house the tomb of the founder of the Bah’ai faith, Baha’Allah, hence it has turned to a big tourist site for the adherents of this faith. Those who may come up to defend Governor Okorocha’s demolition of this very important artefact cannot tell me that some of these tourists centers scattered across the world do not stand in the way of building more roads. What a reasonable government that thinks of the future of its citizens would do is to design such roads in such a way that such important sites do not have to be pulled down.
No matter what is eventually written or said in defense of this rape on a peoples’ cultural heritage and pride, it will go down in history that a certain Governor meted one of the worst injustices and insults to indigenous arts of not just the Igbo people, but the entire Africa. The demolition of Mbari is one of the greatest tragedies that have befallen the arts sector.
I do not want to hear the excuse of a certain Bongo Center, as a replacement for the Mbari Cultural Center. I am one of those who believe that the building of that Bongo Center by the Rochas Okorocha administration is one of the evidences of waste that have come to define this government. The land space housing the Mbari Cultural Center can comfortably contain whatever the Governor wanted to build as a Bong Center, but the Governor rather chose to build that somewhere else and is now talking of relocating the entire cultural center to that place, while no serious plan is in place on what will become of the original Cultural Center.
I join thousands of arts lovers and practitioners across Nigeria and Africa to call on the Governor of Imo State, to stopthe massive onslaught against the development of the arts. At a time, when everybody is talking of looking for alternative means of generating revenue, especially as oil prices continue its slump, arts and the entire creative industry are veritable alternatives for any government that is really desirous of tapping into it.

World Press Release By Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) On The 50th Commemoration Of The ASABA GENOCIDE

The purpose of this Press Release is to extend a hand of compatriot comfort to all Biafrans and friends of Biafra everywhere in the world still in grief over the Nigerian army genocide in Asaba 50 years ago. Today, IPOB says to all Biafrans: ‘Ndonu’. And to each and every Biafran fallen in that tragic genocide, we say ‘rest well, your blood will not be in vain’. We are all joined by blood to stand for something, to stand against man’s inhumanity to man, to stand for freedom through Biafra.

Remembering Asaba would not be complete if we don’t go beyond Asaba and say more. So, we will use the opportunity of this very sad commemoration to remember all the other massacres of Biafrans that have occurred in the past and then persisted and heightened in this era.asari-dokubo-087

You will recall that in 1966, soon after the world commemorated the 21st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and made the customary solemn declaration of ‘Never, Never Again’, Nigeria defiled that season of reflection, commiseration and hope. Its military officers (assisted by civilians) planned and executed the Biafran genocide – the foundational genocide of post-European conquest of Africa. This is also Africa’s most devastating genocide of the 20th century. A total of 3.1 million Biafrans (mostly of Igbo stock) were murdered between 29th May, 1966 and 12th January, 1970.

Most Biafrans were slaughtered in their homes, offices, businesses, schools, colleges, hospitals, markets, churches, farmlands, factories, industrial enterprises, children’s playground, town halls, refugee centres, cars, lorries, and at bus stations, railway stations, airports, etc. In the end, the Biafran genocide was enforced by Nigeria’s simultaneously pursued land, aerial and naval blockade and bombardment of Biafra, Africa’s highest population density region outside the Nile Delta. In other words, even in their own heartland where they had taken refuge, they were pursued and killed in cold blood. The excuse then, as it were, was that Nigeria was prosecuting a war of ‘reunification’. On the contrary, there is quantum evidence that the war was provoked in order to accomplish the genocide that had begun in earnest across Northern Nigeria. The following excerpt from recently declassified US Embassy diplomatic dispatches of the era on the pogroms and the war is illustrative, and we Quote:

“The North was minded to use the war as a tool to reassert its dominance of national affairs. Mallam Kagu Damboa, Regional Editor of the Morning Post, told the American consul in Kaduna: “No one should kid himself that this is a fight between the East and the rest of Nigeria. It is a fight between the North and the Ibo”.

On the prelude to the Asaba Massacre, the US diplomatic dispatch continued thus:

“Ten trucks of Nigerien soldiers were seen being transported for service in the Nigerian Army from Gusau to Kaduna and over 2,000 more waiting on Niger-Nigeria border for transportation to Kaduna. 1,000 Chadian soldiers passed through Maiduguri en route Kaduna. These mercenary soldiers constituted the “Sweepers”. The captured American teachers aptly observed that there were soldiers regarded as fighting soldiers and there were other units that came behind to conduct mass exterminations. Major Alani, it was understood, was trying to get as many civilians as possible into the bush before the sweepers could arrive. There were too many civilians to be executed that Captain Paul Ogbebor and his men were asked to get rid of a group of several hundred Asaba citizens rounded up on 7 October. Not wanting to risk insubordination, he marched the contingent into the bush, told the people to run and had his men fire harmlessly into the ground. Eyewitness accounts confirmed that he performed the same life-saving deception in Ogwashi-Uku. However, other civilian contingents the sweepers rounded up were shot behind the Catholic Mission and their bodies thrown into the Niger River. This incident and many others were reported to Colonel Arthur Halligan, the US military attaché in Nigeria at that time.” Unquote.

Today, as we mourn Asaba, we salute and say ‘thank you’ to Major Alani and Captain Ogbebor. Out of that whole cesspool of killers, you two distinguished yourselves as the best exemplars of the human essence, best exemplars of the Nigeria that our forefathers imagined but which never came to pass.16938980_1231804453605712_4404648712820661981_n

Against above backdrop, we have noted the propaganda that the current Biafran struggle for self-determination is an ethnic backlash against President Buhari just because he is an Hausa-Fulani Muslim. We state unequivocally that this is false. How can this be true when the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Radio Biafra, and the phenomenon of Nnamdi Kanu, all pre-dated the election of Buhari in 2015. That the struggle seemed not very intense during the Jonathan administration was simply because Jonathan appeared sincere to have taken some bankable measures at protecting Biafran lives as well as addressing some of the injustices that were driving the neo-Biafra push-back as led by IPOB/Nnamdi Kanu. To be sure, it is the notorious Nigerian proclivity to kill Biafrans at will that constitutes the major motivation for the agitation to separate Biafra from Nigeria. So, that such killings virtually stopped during the Jonathan administration was what contributed most to the seeming but temporary lessening of the intensity of the agitation during that era. This is also true of the Yar’Adua era, even as short-lived as it was. Yet, Yar’Adua, like Buhari, was an Hausa/Fulani Muslim.15994340_1581304621910674_328723011957509856_o

Therefore, it is fallacious to say that this epic Biafran struggle as led by Nnamdi Kanu is directed personally at the election of President Buhari. If at all, it’s only because Buhari has proven to be the first post-Civil War Nigerian President that has made genocide against Biafrans a state policy. The highest point now is Buhari’s new state policy of ordering soldiers to hunt down the leader of IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, which culminated in the mid-September 2017 military invasions of Kanu’s homestead at Umuahia, where many civilian Biafrans were killed. As you are reading this, the manhunt is continues under the guise of the ‘Operation Python Dance’ Buhari foisted on the five States of the Southeast of Nigeria.

One common theme in all of these since time is that Biafran life is not sacred in Nigeria; almost nobody is ever brought to book for taking of innocent Biafran lives. Murderers of Biafrans operate with impunity and seemingly enjoy tacit support of the Nigerian government, especially of the present era. And to further justify such killings and more, Buhari has swiftly procured a highly questionable declaration of IPOB as a terrorist organization, thus putting millions of IPOB members at the risk of being shot at sight.16999219_1872138129737795_6287234299584341600_n

As all can see, it has now gotten to the point where the world can no longer afford to be silent. As the renowned English philosopher Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing”. We live in a world plagued by real terrorism. That evil terror appears to have infiltrated the psyche of some officials in the Nigerian government and Biafrans are their primary targets. It is time for well-meaning Nigerians to speak out and for the international community to put a halt to it. This is especially urgent, as the present Nigerian government is clearly complicit in this terror. Buhari has even made deals with the Boko Haram and actually offered amnesty to its implicated members. He has proved dodgy and profoundly lenient while his kinsmen are threatening to forcibly expel Biafrans from Northern Nigeria. He saw nothing wrong in Fulani herdsmen killing Biafrans in their heartland, in their farms and their homes, yet he is obsessed with stigmatizing a universally nonviolent Biafrans as ‘terrorists’, thereby baying their blood as they could be shot at sight, even when unarmed.

As we remember Asaba, let us also remember the following massacres that have occurred recently in Northern Nigeria. They are: Kano 1980, Maiduguri 1982, Jimeta 1984, Gombe 1985, Zaria 1987, Kaduna & Kafanchan 1991, Bauchi & Katsina 1991, Kano 1991, Zangon-Kataf 1992, Funtua 1993, Kano 1994, Kaduna 2000, Kaduna 2001, Maiduguri 2001, Kaduna 2002, Beheading of Gideon Akaluka in December 1996 in Kano, Jos Christmas Eve 2010, Madalla Christmas day 2011, Mubi January 6 2012, Abia and Onitsha 2016, Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia September 2017; and still counting to what may as yet emanate from the ‘Python Dance’ that has dug-in and doing scotched-earth in Southeast. Against this backdrop, Genocide Watch has stated “that future genocidal massacres are likely, based on religious and ethnic identity. Nigeria is at stage 6 (Preparation) of Genocide Watch’s 8 stages of genocide.” Now, are we supposed to just be silent whilst the next slaughter looms?cku7mpyuoaakczd

No! We will NEVER keep silent. Instead, we will continue to agitate and seek solutions – fair solutions, permanent solutions – Biafra. Biafra means different things to different people. To much of the ruling elite, it means a plan to deny them free-will access to the vast hydrocarbon wealth of Eastern Nigeria. But to Biafrans, and as encapsulated by IPOB/Nnamdi Kanu, it simply means a right to self-determination, self-preservation; and ultimately a right to a referendum on Biafra either becoming an independent nation or not – on terms of a free plebiscite decided by the Biafrans themselves. Further, Biafra does not mean a war of attrition or hate-mongering against our compatriot Nigerians, nor will Biafra be forced on any Biafran that does not desire it.

At this juncture and despite provocations and lethal persecutions, let it be clear that IPOB still aligns itself with its famed nonviolent approach and rejects any government antics geared to drawing Biafrans to another war. If truth be told, societies progress when among competing ideas or options, they choose the most progressive of the lot. This is even more so when such societies have the benefit of hindsight which – in the case of Nigeria – lies in the Civl War and its aftermaths. To this end, IPOB, as led by Nnamdi Kanu has advisedly called for a peaceful solution that lies only in a referendum to FINALLY decide the Biafran question. We did so in all consciousness of the truism that an armed conflict will do nobody any good, not Nigeria, not Biafra.15697963_1539770959397374_6499650908023563499_n

Presently, hardly a week passes without one hearing calls for “True Federalism” or “Sovereign National Conference” or “Restructuring”. These hackneyed calls are even quite unrealistic in a country where twelve states have already adopted Sharia as State religion, which denies non-adherents of that religion certain freedoms guaranteed by the Nigerian Constitution. Come to think of it, was it not a true federal arrangement (or true federalism) that Nigeria had at independence that could not survive more than six years? That era has passed and its failure as an era of ‘true federalism’ speaks for itself. Yet, all hope is not lost. That hope lies in present-day Nigeria. All that is needed is a compatriot realism that will open minds and hearts to embrace new solutions, sustainable solution, just and fair solutions. These solutions lie in a ‘Referendum On Self-Determination’ for Biafrans. Any other solution short of this would be duplicitous, futile and unsustainable.

International Communities Should investigate Nigerian Forces.

We the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and it’s leadership worldwide wish to bring to the attention of the general public, international community and the world at large the ongoing plan to begin the destruction of police stations in Aba Abia State by Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu in concert with Hausa Fulani Islamic Nigerian government and her security operatives especially the Nigerian Army. They plan to use it as a cover to kidnap and abduct innocent Biafrans under the pretext that they are the perpetrators of these heinous crimes. This reign of death is what Okezie Ikpeazu and this Buhari regime have reduced governance to in Abia State.

IPOB have never engaged in any crime of any sort from it’s inception till date. There is police station that can claim to have received any complaint of lawlessness or crime alleged to have been committed by IPOB. Our rallies and evangelism are all done in full view of the public and well attended within communities with no single recorded adverse incident till date. IPOB have never been involved in any retaliatory attacks or killing of any human being because we believe, along with our ancient values, that life is a rare gift from God, which is not in the place of man to take.

We are aware that this Islamic sadistic Nigerian government of Muhammadu Buhari and her security operatives, have little or no regard for human life as is their custom and tradition ably demonstrated over the centuries through a series of well documented pogroms. Igbo governors, who are essentially Hausa Fulani stooges in government houses across the South East are doing their damned best to turn global opinion against IPOB. Civilised nations and countries around the world know that IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is not and can never be a terrorist organisation but the APC Islamic fundamentalist government of Nigeria headed by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari in collaboration with Dave Umahi, Okezie Ikpeazu, Willie Obiano and others is making every effort to tarnish impeccable global standing of IPOB. This latest evil plot, already perfected, is designed to legitimise even more brutal deaths, arrests, torture and detention without trial at the hands of Nigerian soldiers and police. Okezie Ikpeazu in his jealousy fuelled vendetta against IPOB, have unwittingly turned hitherto peaceful Abia State to a killing field for blood thirsty Islamic Jihadists from Arewa North hell bent on spreading Islam to every nook and cranny of Biafraland.

Today, Okezie Ikpeazu and his Northern masters have successfully hired unscrupulous individuals and groups to cause crisis in order to justify their black market order obtained from the Hausa Fulani Islamic judge, Justice Kafarati designating IPOB a terrorist organisation. That civilised nations steadfastly refused to buy into the tagging of IPOB as a terror group continues to irritate and anger Igbo governors and their Islamic masters from the North.

We are also aware that Nigeria security agents has also positioned themselves in strategic places for any eventuality, should communities rise up against these terrorists imported into Abia to kill innocent people. Equally, Abia State Police Commissioner a non Igbo from Edo State, with no interest in the protection of lives and property in the state, have also readied his men to attack anybody who stand to oppose this evil plan against the people of Biafra. Nigerian government through her unprofessional army and police have commenced house to house search to abduct and kill those suspected to be IPOB members across Biafraland and Abia State in particular.

IPOB is therefore calling on all conscientious and civilised men and women, lovers of freedom, the international community especially USA, EU, Britain, Russia and France to intervene to stop this horrendous ethnic cleansing going on in Abia State, for the sake of humanity. The scale of killings going on right now is a tragedy of immense proportions and until the world brings this scale of barbarism to a halt, injustice will continue to reign supreme in Nigeria.
