Nnamdi Kanu- Prediction to AFP News on Biafra

They May Kill Us, But We Will Get Biafra in The End !

Nnamdi Kanu has made a prediction that unfortunately there will be sacrifices and tough times ahead down the road before Biafra is achieved. Speaking to AFP yesterday from jail Kanu said he is a “prisoner of Conscience” He vowed that Biafra in the end will be realised. Kanu spoke through his brother Prince Emmanuel Kanu, who visited him on Thursday in Kuje prison in Abuja. Kanu told  AFP News, that “Biafra has come to stay,” He further said, “They will kill us but by the end Biafra will come.”He added, “I am a prisoner of conscience and killing unarmed Biafran protesters is a crime against humanity.” Kanu’s arrest has solidified and galvanized the Biafra Movement. The killing of IPOB and MASSOB members by the Nigerian Government Agents has not deterred the demand for Biafra. Kanu also said, “We have been failed in so many ways,” he described the state of  Igbos as “third class citizens”, many people in the east also share those sentiments that the Igbos are still being punished for the civil war. Kanu described Nigeria as a “Zoo country” which has to come to an end.

Kanu was arrested by the Nigerian DSS in October, 2015 when he arrived at Lagos Airport. he has been held in detention since, despite Abuja magistrate court’s release orders. He was being charged with treasonable felony a charge Kanu has dismissed as a political effort by the Nigerian Federal Government an attempt to diminish the demand for Biafra Republic.
